Who we are
High Five Roofing & Exteriors provides roof replacements, roof repairs, window replacements, gutters, TPO roofing and siding across the CSRA, from Aiken, South Carolina to Augusta, Georgia.
This policy explains what we collect when you use highfiveroofs.com, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website. It does not cover anything that happens off the site, such as a conversation on your driveway.

The short version
We collect what you type into our forms so we can call you back about your roof, and we record which advertisement, search or website sent you to us so we know what is worth spending money on. We do not sell your information to anybody. If you want your details removed, email us and we will remove them.
The rest of this page is the detail behind that.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you fill in the estimate form or use the roof calculator, we collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The service you are interested in
- The property address, if you use the roof calculator
- Anything you write in the message box
- Whether you ticked the box agreeing to be contacted
Information about your roof
If you use the instant roof price calculator, we also record:
- The size of your roof, either measured from satellite imagery or worked out from the home size you entered
- The slope of your roof, and whether that was measured or you selected it
- The material you chose
- The price range the calculator showed you
- A satellite image of the property, saved to our website so we can look at the roof before we call you
That satellite image is ordinary aerial imagery, the same view anybody can see on a public mapping service. We store a copy so it is still available when we follow up with you.
Information collected automatically
Whether or not you fill anything in, our website records:
- Which website, search engine, advertisement or AI assistant sent you to us
- The page you arrived on and the pages you looked at
- Any campaign tags or advertising click identifiers in the link you followed
- Whether you were on a phone or a computer
- The date and time of your visit
- Your IP address
We use this to work out which marketing is actually producing customers. It is about the visit, not about you personally: we are not building a profile, and none of it is matched to your name unless you choose to fill in a form.
Cookies
We use three cookies, all set by our own website. None of them follow you to other websites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without them. The only difference is that if you then contact us, we will not know which advertisement or search sent you.
If we have Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager installed, those set their own cookies. Google explains what those do at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How we use what we collect
We use your information to:
- Contact you about the estimate or the question you sent us
- Prepare and give you a price for the work
- Schedule and carry out work you hire us for
- Keep a record of who asked us for what, and when
- Understand which marketing brings in customers so we can spend sensibly
- Improve the website and the calculator
- Meet our legal and tax obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision making that has any legal effect on you. The roof calculator produces an estimate, not a decision about you.
Calls, texts and emails
When you tick the consent box on our form, you are agreeing that we may contact you by phone, text message and email about the request you sent us. We do that so we can actually reach you, because roofing questions are quicker to settle in a two minute phone call than in a week of emails.
Some points worth stating plainly:
We will not send you marketing texts about anything unrelated to what you contacted us about.
You do not have to consent to buy anything from us. Agreeing to be contacted is not a condition of us doing work for you.
You can withdraw consent at any time, by any reasonable method. Reply STOP to a text, tell us on a call, or email info@highfiveroofs.com. We will stop within ten business days at the latest, and normally the same day.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your phone plan.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anybody for their own marketing.
We do share it with the companies that make the website work:
Our web host. The site runs on WP Engine, which stores the website and everything submitted through it.
Google. If you type an address into the roof calculator, that address is sent to Google so it can be located, the roof measured, and the satellite image produced. Google’s use of that information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. If we have Google Analytics installed, visit information is also shared with Google.
Our email provider. Form submissions are emailed to us, which means they pass through the service that delivers our email.
Our customer management system. When we set one up, new enquiries are passed to it so we can keep track of who we owe a call. It will be used only to run our business, not for anybody else’s marketing.
Contractors and suppliers, but only where it is needed to do work you have hired us for.
Anybody we are legally required to share it with, such as in response to a lawful request from a court or a government agency.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we have a reasonable business reason to, which normally means:
- Enquiries that did not turn into work: kept while we might still follow up, then deleted
- Customers: kept for as long as we may need the record for warranty, insurance, tax or legal reasons
If you want your details deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it, unless we are legally required to keep them.
Keeping it safe
The website uses an encrypted connection, so anything you type into a form travels to us encrypted. Access to enquiries is limited to people who need it to run the business.
No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we can say is that we do not collect payment card details, social security numbers or anything similar through this website, so there is nothing of that kind here to lose.
South Carolina and Georgia both require businesses to notify people if unencrypted personal information is exposed in a breach. If that ever happened, we would notify you as those laws require.
Your choices
Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete what we hold, unless we need to keep it for legal or tax reasons
- Stop contacting you, by any method or by all of them
Email info@highfiveroofs.com or call 803-474-0005 and we will handle it. We may need to confirm who you are before releasing or deleting anything, which protects you as much as us.
South Carolina and Georgia do not currently have comprehensive consumer data privacy laws giving residents these rights automatically. We offer them anyway, because it is how we would want to be treated. If you live in a state that does have such a law, we will honor the rights it gives you where it applies to us.
We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because there is no agreed standard for what a business should do when it receives one.
Links to other websites
Our site may link to other websites, such as a manufacturer or a review site. We do not control those, and this policy does not apply once you leave highfiveroofs.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the website collects or uses information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly rather than quietly editing the page.
